I am so fortunate to be able to practice dentistry, as caring for patients and their oral health brings tremendous satisfaction and fulfillment to my life. I went to The University of Texas at Austin for undergrad (Hook ‘em Horn!) and The UT School of Dentistry in Houston for dental school. Though I was born and raised in California, it is safe to say that I’m now a proud Texas girl. When I’m not working with patients chairside, I enjoy an active lifestyle spending lots of time outdoors with my family.

Hi there! My name is Chris Mun and I was born and raised right up the road in the suburbs of Dallas, Texas. I graduated from the University of Texas Dental Branch-Houston in 2011. My wife (girlfriend at the time) and I moved straight to Denver, Colorado, where we spent a wonderful two years. When we got married in May, we knew it was time to move back to Texas and plant some roots close to our families.
Dr. Alan Hwang

Dr. Alan Hwang practices dentistry because he believes patients deserve exceptional dental care offered in a gentle and caring environment. Dr. Alan grew up in Cupertino, CA, and has been in Texas for over 10 years. He is excited to be here in Austin and glad to call this place his home.
Dr. Alan earned his Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry from Rice University and completed his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Texas A&M College of Dentistry. Dr. Alan has an ongoing commitment to continuing education and is always learning new techniques to offer the best care to his patients. He is a certified Invisalign provider and loves all aspects of cosmetic and implant dentistry.
In his spare time, he loves singing, working out, watching TV series, and trying new restaurants/coffee spots around Austin.
